The available mintage numbers only reference each individual coin rather than the actual sets. According to NGC, the 1 oz. Silver mintage was set to be 31,000 but actual numbers are far more scare. The number of 5 oz. Coins minted were only 11,000. The PCGS Population Report for the 5 oz. Coin consists of only 131 graded coins (2). The NGC census report includes 1553 more totaling only 1684 coins, 15% of what was actually minted (1). Of these coins only 1528 are PR67 or higher. The PCGS Population Report for the 1 oz. Coin includes only 297 coins (3). NGC’s census includes significantly more with at total 2449 (4). Combined they account for only 8% of what was set to be minted at 2746 coins with 2719 at or above a PR66. This set includes a 1 oz. Silver coin graded at a PR66DCAM and a 5 oz. Silver coin graded at PR67DCAM both by PCGS along with the original display box and certificate of authenticity both in good condition. The interior of the box looks excellent while the exterior does show some abrasions on the right side and some wear to the Panda logo and writing. Suggested PCGS price for the 5 oz.
