The coin’s observe side displays China’s iconic Giant Panda Bear sipping water from a stream with bamboo in the background. The coin’s reverse side features the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvest in the Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters set above the image and the date 1987 set below.
